A life update
Samuel Graduated on Friday last week with his Masters in Agricultural Economics. He still has his thesis to finsih by May 22nd to turn in to his committee-if that is not enough stress in and of itself that same day he presents part of his paper at a conference here in town. We hope at that point to be able to leave for a few days and go home to Idaho to see family! Samuel will then, defend his thesis on June 1st andafter that pack up and leave....to FLORIDA!!! Not at all where we thought we would end up, nor in the direction we longed to go, but it will be good. New adventures await! I am sure roping an alligator will be at the top of Samuels list.

The Sam Steel Ceremony
The Department Head, not letting Samuel go until .....
The poster arrives. A girl in Samuel's office made this poster for him and the dean waved for her to bring it up on stage. Everyone laughed! And yes, that is a unicorn with a rainbow!

Today Samuel GRADUATED!!!!!!!!! I wish we could say we are done and walk away, like you can do when you finish your undergrad, but no. Samuel still has his Thesis to finish and Present on June 1st. We are very excited for him! The Sam Steel Ceremony is very laid back and a place where Grad students can be recognized when they are not allowed to walk at Graduation( They are not allowed to walk if they have not presented their Thesis before graduation)We had a good afternoon filled with many events.

Deseret Cattle and Citrus Ranch
Madaline and I at Melbourne beach in Florida
A part of the Ranch
Last weekend Samuel and I were flown out to Florida to the Deseret Cattle & Citrus Ranch for a job interview. Samuel was taken and shown around the ranch after interviews and I was taken and shown the areas around the ranch and the beach. Madaline came along for the ride! It was a fun and quick trip.
