We have been told that the reason why this beach is so empty is because of the number of sharks there. Last time we went Emmaline said she saw dolphins. I saw the fins but never saw them jump. This time, as we were on the beach relaxing, Samuel was watching something. I looked just in time to see 2 large sharks , about 100 yards away in the water. I did not get my camera out in time for a picture.  There was a row of men a little away from us baiting sharks. They also saw the sharks and got up. I wish we could have seen them reel one in.

Bike Ridding

When we moved here only Emmaline knew how to ride a bike. We started to teach brigham, who seemed to pick it up in no time. Bennett, feeling left out picked it up even quicker..and Brigham taught him in one night!! The kids ride their bikes up and down the lane with the other kids for hours. They recently figuered out a way to include Madaline. So far, no accidents..I am hoping it stays that way!

Whirlwind of a Month

We celebrated our 10 year Anniversary.......
He still makes me laugh everyday

                                                             we played at the Beach!

The kids had their first day of School
                                                               Bennett had his 6th Birthday!

To top off our month, my Grandfather passed away. He was a great man and will be very missed. I was unable to attend but heard it was wonderful! We had the wonderful privelage of having dinner with our former Bishop, from Rexburg Idaho, Bishop Hall and Samuel was able to baptize and confirm our Neighboors. It was a very hectic, beautiful month in many ways. I am glad I survived ;)

Hangars Beach

This weekend we went to Hangars Beach with some friends in our ward. It was a lot of fun! The kids played hard and did not want to leave. Madaline LOVED IT!! She kept crawling towards the waves. When a wave did come up and get her she would laugh and splash and then chase it back. This is my favorite spot we have been to so far.

Picture of a hard shell turtle that Samuel brought home for the kids to see and play with. Madaline was very interested in the turtle

This is a picture of Deer--although you can hardly see them

A baby wild hog. Hogs are EVERY WHERE. They destroy everything! So, people here go hog hunting every weekend-either to kill the hogs or capture them for money

Madaline and Brigham playing--you can kind of see her two front teeth! She got her front 2 teeth and a bottom tooth in 3 weeks! Making up for lost time ;)
