Fishing on the Rio Grande

Saturday we took the kids out to go fishing on the Rio Grande. They had a lot of fun and were excited to get out. Brigham caught his first fish!It was a baby sun fish. He was happy --but even happier about the fact that as we were night fishing, bats came out to play. The bats were flying all over and around us, almost hitting us at times. It was a crazy experience. Brigham just sat on the bank and watched in awe.

 I took Emmaline and Brigham to school the other day and when I got back, I found Bennett in the kitchen eating his breakfast..... He did not want to leave Madaline out so he brought her along with a seat and everything!

Southern New Mexico Speedway

Over Spring break Samuel was able to take the kids to the Speedway that is just on the outskirts of Las Cruces. The kids were so excited to go and see real race cars, race! They sid they were close enough that dirt and mud was hitting them in the face. They all had a good time and now want to

see monster trucks.
