What's in the box?

When I got out of my shower and walked into the living room this is what I found...and a little boy laughing. I asked him what was in the box and he calmly said, oh just Madaline. She was not making a single sound!! I asked him to take the blanket off and he asked if I would first take a picture.

It doesn't get any better...right now........

Thanks to our dear friends, the Mann's, we have a place to get out and relax on the weekend. When ever we can get out on Saturday we get up, eat a qucik breakfast and then out the door we go. The kids are able to run, climb, hike, ride, rope and swim in the dirt. We spend all day outside-It is so gratifing to me as a mother to see my children run from one activity to the next, taking it all in, never complaining or arguing, being happy and making memories together. We get home in the evening, worn out, covered in dirt, a few bumps here and there( or many...depending on the day ) with memories made and friendships strengthened between us and all who join us for the day event.

My First Custom Tailored Shirt

Here is a couple of pictures of my first custom tailored shirt by AMY & Co.  Notice the uniquely wide collar and cuffs.  I already have an order in for another one.  They only cost me a wink and a smile.  I know the proprietor.  She can do things with a needle and thread that would make chills run down your spine and the hair stand up on the back of your neck.

Emmaline has wanted me to make her and Madaline matching skirts for awhile.....Finally got it done!
